Outdoor Watercolor Painting
Enjoy this magical medium watercolor painting depicting the wonderful location of Jericho Park & Beach in Vancouver’s West Side. You will experiment the fleeting light, shade and unpredictability of atmospheric conditions in plain air painting. You will explore the light, value, tone, linear and atmospheric perspective in a variety of subjects including the landscape/seascape, forests, mountains, beautiful bodies of water, logs on the fine sand, ships and boats on the horizon, and stunning views of West Vancouver, Stanley Park and Downtown from a distance. Class time will include sketching, live demonstrations, critique of artwork, and individual help for students.
In each session, you will create an amazing piece of artwork.
